Banderas Square features a monument surrounded by flags of various countries, a rest area, souvenir shops, and what is said to be the only toilet facility within the salt flats.
From there, it’s a short walk to the monument commemorating the Dakar Rally. Due to the frequent passage of vehicles in this area, water levels can vary, and some spots may be unexpectedly deep. Please watch your step when visiting.”
