“The Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia are a breathtaking destination that offers entirely different landscapes depending on the season. During the rainy season, the surface becomes a giant mirror, famously reflecting the sky. In the dry season, vast fields of salt crystals stretch endlessly, creating a surreal white landscape.
According to local guides, European travelers tend to visit in the dry season, while visitors from Asia often prefer the rainy season.
In this video, we initially encountered many salt bubbles on the surface, preventing a clear mirror effect. Eventually, we found a calmer area with fewer bubbles, allowing us to capture beautiful reflections. Weather and wind conditions the day before can make a huge difference. This is one of those places worth spending a few days to witness in perfect conditions with your own eyes.”
