We are returning the way we came from the intricate shopping area of Khan el Khalili. The large mosque-like building is impressive.
Khan el-Khalili is a huge market in the historical center of Cairo, Egypt, dating back to the 14th century. Here, traditional Egyptian crafts, perfumes, spices, and accessories are sold, and the market is bustling with tourists and locals alike. Inside the market are also old mosques, cafes, and museums, where visitors can experience the culture and history of Egypt. Khan el-Khalili is one of the most attractive tourist attractions in Cairo.
We rented bicycles from a location with a good view of the Merlion to near the entrance to the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. We were lucky that it was not raining when we took the pictures, but the sky was overcast, which was a bit disappointing. Here is Singapore’s famous Marina Bay at night. We are cycling around the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, and other tourist attractions. It often rained throughout the day when I took this picture, but luckily it was clear on the night I took it. The area is a wonderful place for sightseeing, walking, and shopping.
