RapaNui Bay Area：Easter Island Coastal Route

In this video, we follow the coastal route along Policarpo Toro Street on Easter Island, heading up a hill towards Rano Kau, located south of the airport, and viewing the center of the island from the high ground. The coast is dotted with restaurants where you can enjoy the sunset, offering beautiful views depending on the time of day. Popular restaurants fill up quickly, so reservations are recommended. By continuing further down the path shown in the latter half of the video, you can access major tourist spots like the Orongo Visitor Center and Rano Kau Lake, known for its volcanic crater lake. Although the plan was to go all the way, we had to turn back midway, as shown in the video, because a large cow was resting in the middle of the road. These spots can also be safely visited with a guided tour, where you receive explanations of their historical background. It is a very impressive area that allows for a deeper understanding of the island’s culture and history.
